01 Sandy Beach Towers

Locate about 9 minutes west of downtown, Sandy Beach Towers is the most resort like area to stay.

Why we loved this area, so much is in walking distance!

• Golf, there's a course right behind the property!

• Pools restaurants, and bars are in complex

• 9 minute drive to downtown

(We stayed at Las Palmas Resort)

02 Casita

If you are looking for something a bit more quiet and relaxing, Casita is where you want to be. The advantages to staying here:

• Gated community

• Semi-private Sandy beaches

• Quiet, 5 min drive from downtown

03 Downtown

Want to be closer to the action? If you don't mind the noise at night, then you should stay in Downtown

Downtown is where all the bars and nightclubs are located. If you know us, we had to check everyone out 😂. Here's are favorites:

• Manny's Beach Club is the most popular spot in town. Live music and dance floor

• SharkBite MX the best place to feel like a kid again, complete with poles, for dancing 😏, and a giant slide down a slight of stairs (our Reel there 😂)

• BullFrog En el Malecon best balcony table top dancing, just ask Uncle Joe 😂
  

Other options outside of the main strip of bars:

• Friday/Saturday night street party along the Malecón Fundadores is family friendly street dancing. Live street bands battle for your attention while couples Bachata through the darkness

• Tekila Bar for a cozier tropical island vibe combined with high energy hip-hop

• 13th street, around the Señorial Bar, is adults only 🙈
